Before you email about a result

Calculator results are educational estimates based on the exact numbers entered and the assumptions described on each tool's page (for example, a constant interest rate). If your lender quotes a different payment, the difference usually comes from fees, escrow, insurance, or rate compounding conventions — each tool's article explains its assumptions.
